We had a wonderful time in London and Luigi and all the staff at the Star Hotel were friendly and attentive. The room was cosy and we had a very comfortable night's sleep and next morning we enjoyed a lovely Continental breakfast. Myself and my wife would recommend the Star Hotel to anyone visiting the Capital and we will definitely be booking again whenever we come back to London. Most enjoyable!

I stayed at Star-hotel for a week and I must say I was impressed. The hotel smells nice, everything's very clean and in good condition, nothing's broken or worn out. The staff is very friendly, helpful and makes your stay a carefree one. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. I had no trouble at all getting to the hotel; it's about 4-mins walk from Hammersmith tube station. I don't need to worry about staying in London anymore. My wife and I stayed at your hotel from 13th July to 18th July 2011. We really enjoyed your hotel atmosphere, location, kind staff and reasonable breakfast. All the time that we were in London, my wife and I called the hotel:"Home"! I remember that never we did not say "Hotel". It means that we had good feeling about staying there and in fact, it was like our home!

What a wonderful hotel. Luigi and his staff make you feel like family and treat you like you are guests in their home. My wife, daughters and I felt very comfortable and welcome. The hotel has a great location, very clean and comfortable beds. The daily breakfast is perfect and the breakfast area is bright and sunny! The garden is a perfect place to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Everything about The Star Hotel was just perfect. When you stay there try the Queens Head Pub which is close by on the park. Easy walk to the Hammersmith Tube Station and right on the bus line! Two enthusiastic thumbs up for The Star!!

It was our first trip to London and we wanted to say that our four day stay in a quadruple room was absolutely perfect, clean and spacious enough for a family of four. Service was great and breakfast filled us up for the day. Mum and dad will highly recommend your hotel to everyone they know.

I can only recommend this very nice hotel to everyone. The staff there is really, really nice and helpful! The rooms were nice, cosy and clean; the breakfast is definitely worth getting up earlier and the surrounding area is really worth seeing it (nice pubs, cafés and shops round there). A friend and I stayed for a concert at the Apollo. Accomodation was brilliant, lovely family, felt so welcome. Definitely stay again. :-)

I stayed in the hotel with two of my friends at the end of May 2010. We had absolutely no problems. The room was clean, service was brilliant, everyone was very helpful. I can only recommend this hotel.

Conosco l'hotel star da 5 anni. La struttura è semplice e famigliare. Le camere confortevoli e pulite, le colazioni ricche e gustose. Ad aumentare la piacevolezza del soggiorno ci sono Luigi e sua moglie, sempre premurosi e disponibili. Inoltre parlano anche italiano, il che non guasta. Una vacanza da ripetere non appena possibile.

I went there with my three children on the third week of August. The place is comfortable, clean and well kept by Luigi and his wife. Breakfast was abundant and good and in the room you can make tea or coffee (Italian Nescafe'... hooray!). Next time I'll come with nephews and nieces so Luigi, please, prepare more quadruple rooms! M sono trovata molto bene... la mia stanza era molto accogliente, curata nei dettagli ma soprattutto molto pulita!!! Colazione buona e abbondante ( che non guasta mai quando sei n vacanza a Londra e devi sopravvivere fino a cena). I ragazzi alla reception disponibili e gentilssimi. La locaton è perfetta e vicino alla piccadilly line, ma anche a piedi sei a 10 minuti da kensighton ( bella da vedere). Lo consiglio!!!! ps: i prezzi sono ok!!!grazie luigi!

Semplicità, pulizia e comfort sono la ricetta di questo Bed & Breakfast. Ottima e abbondante la colazione che soddisfa ogni esigenza degli ospiti. Si trova poca distanza dalla fermata del bus e a circa 10 minuti piedi dalla stazione metropolitana di Hammersmith, che consente di raggiungere tutti i luoghi tipici di Londra. Gentilissimi e disponibili Luigi e la sua consorte che vi faranno sentire sicuramente a vostro agio. Si parla anche italiano e non è poco!. (p.s. = Ciao Luigi sono tornato al caldo afoso!! Spero di tornare presto)

Rosemary Gazagnaire told us about the Star Hotel and we came for few days holidays first in 2006. Great !!! Luigi & Elaine are really friendly people and we fell secure in this family atmosphere. Now my young daughter and her friends come also in Star hotel which is clean, comfortable and near the bus and underground station.It's very cool to come back by bus no 9 in the late evening. Thanks Luigi for your advice and your smile even if it's at 11 h 30 p.m !! We will come back soon to enjoy again holidays in your beautiful town !

Struttura accogliente e simpaticamente anglosassone. L'hotel è a meno di tre minuti di cammino dal bus stop e a meno di quindici da una importante stazione della metropolitana. Le camere sono confortevoli e la disponibilità di Luigi e dei suoi è pari solo alla loro gentilezza. Eccezionale rapporto qualità-prezzo e, cosa assolutamente non trascurabile, qui si parla anche italiano! A presto, Luigi...

I started staying with Star Hotel ten years ago and I keep coming...I recommended it to friends and they keep coming...there must be something musn't there ????? It is all very simple, you'll find at Star-Hotel everything you need, a lively and safe area, a spotless clean and cosy en-suite room, a nice breakfast, a (golden) mine of advice and tips about what to see and where to go to make your holiday even better, but most of all, the loveliest and warmest welcome from Luigi and Elaine, the very same I enjoyed ten years ago from Luigi's Mum and Dad...they made me feel right at home...some things never change, do they ?

I highly recommend the Star Hotel! Hosts Luigi & Elaine are very friendly, the rooms are spotless and the location is great - very near the Hammersmith Tube station. The breakfast in the morning is delicious too! I will definitely return and have already recommended it to my friends here in the States.

La struttura è semplice ma pulita e confortevole. Dista veramente poco dalla fermata della metro di Hammersmith (10 min. a piedi) da dove si raggiunge il cuore di Londra in meno di 20 min. La colazione continentale, per me che sono italiana, è buona e la gentilezza di Luigi e tutta la sua famiglia deliziosa. Il clima è familiare e il fatto che si parli anche italiano aiuta in caso di difficoltà con la lingua inglese. Ci tornerò senz'altro e lo consiglio a tutti per l'ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
